Rehoboth Beach Reviews - Salumerias / Delis / Gourmet Markets

How we figure the ratingsSome of you might remember the dark and mysterious "Beautiful Foods" in the Henlopen Junction Shopping Center at the end of Rehoboth Ave., just before the merge onto Rt. 1. An interesting spot, to be sure (it was the only place The Foodie could find his preferred brand of Tahini), but you needed a Google Map and a flashlight to get around in there. Uber-chef Deberah Sutter and partner Lois Pellegrino have changed all that with the creation of

How we figure the ratingsHalf-Full is the most recent (and smallest at 500 sq. ft.) brain-child of Matt and Ali DiSabatino, Ian Crandall and Joanna Goode. They also own (in various combinations) Kindle and Striper Bites restaurants in downtown Lewes.

Speaking of style, the festivities begin with an interesting twist on the standard salsa and chips. The salsa is presented in a

Ratings / StandardsJeff McCracken and Mark Hunker took over Eden restaurant about 5 years ago, and have so far managed to preserve the Rehoboth Beach fine-dining icon as the go-to place for a quiet, romantic dinner. JAM Bistro (Jeff And Mark...get it?) is located directly across Baltimore Avenue in the old Epworth Church complex (and former home of the short-lived "Ovations"). JAM's menu is less pricey than Eden, and contains some interesting hits--and some misses.

The evening jump-starts with fried flour tortilla triangles paired with a softly sweet tomato jam. Both are made on the premises, and both are
