Well, the results are in! The lease is signed on Touch of Italy's fourth location in the old Ocean Liquors spot next to where Niko's used to be and where the Nage's new deli & carryout Root Gourmet is being fitted out.
The store will be a duplicate of the Lewes installation at Second and Savannah, with wood-fired pizza ovens. It will be larger with more seating for diners. Current plans call for an outdoor patio that will be shared with Root Gourmet. Josh Grapski and Bob Ciprietti are discussing a coordinated look for the adjoining properties to draw customers into the little strip center, now dominated by Outlet Liquors, Hickman's Meats and Nage Restaurant.
Congratulations to Bob Ciprietti and Joe Curzi. The Nage/TOI corner will be a fun place to be! You can buy your liquor next door, pick up a pound of Hot Stix at Hickman's, and even get your vacuum cleaner fixed at Oreck. One Stop Shopping at its best.
