WHAT DO YOU EAT WHEN NOBODY'S LOOKING?

Admit it! Things can get scary when nobody's there to see you eat. You might stand over the sink and munch, or you might slink through your favorite drive-up window under the cover of darkness, or you might spread whatever on nice, soft white bread.

So, c'mon. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and post your personal, solitary decadence right here for everyone to enjoy. You don't have to use your real name, and the system won't publish your email address.

What's your ultimate comfort food--when nobody's around to pass judgment?

I take one of those soft Martin's Potato Rolls and put Skippy chunky peanut butter and grape jelly on it. Then I pile it with Cape Cod potato chips, mash the whole thing down, and, yeah...I eat it over the sink. Happy now?

Remember the Taylor Pork Roll places on the boardwalk here, in OC, Atlantic City and Wildwood? I fry up a few pieces of Taylor Pork Roll, melt cheddar cheese on the top and put the whole thing on a big soft sesame-seed roll with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Nirvana.

Secret eating? It's Popeye's for me. You can't beat the chicken on the biscuit and of course the rice along with it. No shame, really -- it's just that nobody wants to admit they like it.

Why, a Hershey bar dipped in peanut butter, of course. (Even better: A Toblerone bar dipped in peanut butter!) Now tell me you haven't done it.

I love to eat Nutella hazelnut butter right out of the container with a spoon. I don't do it a lot, but when I do I can finish the whole thing in an afternoon. And I'm skinny as a rail!

I'm a personal trainer and in perfect shape. But sometimes at night I HAVE to go to McDonald's and get a Quarter-Pounder, a Fish Filet sandwich, a large fries and a vanilla milkshake. This is the first time I've ever told anyone this. I love your site!

I'm a chef at a fine-dining restaurant. On the way home in the summer I stop at Louie's and get 2 slices. Pepperoni. Tim and Tony have been sworn to silence, so don't even try--

Ever since I was a child, I have loved hot dogs split and grilled stove top drizzled in maple syrup. Don't knock it until you've tried it!

Hey, Pro Chef...I know who you are! I have seen you in line at Louie's--because I was in line at Thrashers! I won't tell if you won't.

The dark-chocolate cashew turtles from Ibachs. The nuts are in buttery caramel and it's all covered in rich dark chocolate. At least three must be eaten in the dark on a warm night while strolling on the boardwalk, south of the Star of the Sea where it's quiet. This is making me hungry.

Peanut butter, crispy bacon and orange marmalade on Wonder Bread fresh out of the bag. Then a big unsweetened iced tea.

I love Velveta cheese! It has little to no nutritional value but it makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches!

Cream puffs and/or eclairs from Vaccaro's Italian bakery in Baltimore's Little Italy. I open them up and eat the custard out with a spoon. Then I hide the empty shells so nobody knows.
